Jun Ji-hyun (전지현) born in 30 October 1981, is a South Korean actress and model. She began her career as a model in 1997 and perform in a number of TV sitcoms. Her biggest breakthrough was in My Sassy Girl (2001), a romantic comedy that won her the Best Actress award at the Daejong Film Festival in 2002.
Kim Hee-sun (김희선), born February 25, 1977, is South Korean actress from Seoul who has been acting in Korean TV dramas and films for over a decade. In 2005, she starred alongside Jackie Chan as a Korean Princess in The Myth. This role makes her a well-known star thoughout Asia.

In the show, Chae Yong plays a fun-loving, free-spirited young modern day Choon Hyang.
